This probably the best store in Central Virginia. They have a wide selection of new issues and back issues. They stock a few manga videos, figures and stuff, but the store is focused mainly on comics. I always go to this store when I am passing through Charlottesville.
This is a great store! The owner, Beau, is always friendly, including to my kids. The other employees are also polite, attentive, and knowledgable. The sister store, Atlas Underground, is a mile or two away; it has adult-interest titles that wouldn't be appropriate for the all-ages atmosphere of the main store. Both stores stock Heroclix figures, both in the booster boxes and as singles.
Best comic shop in town. Good back issue selection and the best service. The owners know their stuff and always treat the customers right.
