Store Review:
PLEASE NOTE: The views expressed here are not those of THE MASTER LIST, but rather, those of people who have visited the store listed above. Please take all opinions expressed here at the value of what they are: opinions.

  1. As noted, the store had gotten quite cluttered in the last few years, although not as bad as the other reviews imply. Anyway, all of that is completely changed. The store has been cleaned from end to end, repainted, and reorganized. Things are very easy to find, and while I am a regular, they seem to be pro-actively helping new customers, whereas in the past they were more laid-back, and would wait for you to ask for help. (Which is how I wish all stores were BTW, let me browse in peace, thank you.) They also offer a subscription/hold service, where you give them your reading list, and they reserve the books for you when they arrive. [6/11/07]

  2. Every time I visit Earth Prime, it just keeps getting worse. Ok, the owner has a huge pile of stuff in the middle of the store. You cannot even begin to understand how unprofessional that is. I mean, you are running a store, on the best street in town, and it looks like jumk. The owner hires people that know nothing about comics, let alone custmer service. [3/24/06]

  3. Earth Prime Comics is one of my regular stops when I am in the area. They have a pretty good selection for new comics but once in while i can not find what i am looking for. The same goes for back issue comics: most of the time i find what i am looking for. But, there is a eye sore of a pile of merchandise in the middle of the store. You can't buy anything in that pile. The clerk says it belongs to the store upstairs and they can't do much about it because they own the store. There is also a cat, who stays there the whole time even after closing. He crawls around and sometimes sleeps on the open back issue comics. They also sell action figures and such but thats not really why I shop there. The employees seem to be too busy in their own lives to really talk to you. An example is they close the store to run errens or "eat lunch". but once you get to know them they will be your friends. I also pick up my wizard and toy fair mags here, since they usually have them in stock. But, one thing that kinda freaks me out is a two way mirror in the back. There are people behind there and you are being watched. They also have a new subscription plan. Overall I like this store. Once you get to know the guys or gals who work there, they will make you laugh.

  4. The employees here always seem to be way to busy to be bothered, unoless you are one of the regulars. The store is a mess. There is a pile in the front of the store near the counter that is just so unprofessional. It is so hard to put into words all that I find wrong with this store. Anyone else that may wander in here might find themselves sorely disappointed.
