Instant Messaging server: Owner/Employee Info/Comments: The former Laughing Dragon was bought out three years ago(2001), and renamed Shotokan Anime. It quickly expanded it's collection of anime, going strictly to the DVD format for both cost reasons (dub/sub) and because most of the customers had DVD players and were phasing out their VHS collection. In 2002, on it's one-year anniversary, the store moved to a larger location two doors down, to 514 Harwood Rd. Now home to a large contingent of MTG players, Shotokan Anime remains focused on it's core business- DFW's largest anime rental store, with over 1300 discs available for rent. Store Review: |
