Owner/Employee Info/Comments:
Green Dragon opened the doors for business in 1976 with less than 300 sq feet. We grew to a multi-location, million dollar operation, then contracted to a 6000 sq ft super store to better apply our resources to the customers' service. Today we provide 2000 sq ft of open space to gaming groups, martial arts seminars, fan club meetings and a bevy of beaders. We sponsor a club for Video/Anime fans and Computer Gamers.

Store Review:

As a comic shop, I think that it is terrible, and it's about the only store in the area for gaming. They mostly have TPBs and GNs and only carry a limited selection of the newer issues. They are on par with a chain bookstore as far as selection. If you are a gamer, I think that you will be disappointed, also. They have a limited selection. Mostly d20 RPGs. For CCGs they have MTG, UFS, WoW, L5R and maybe some others but don't expect to get the latest products unless it is those 4 listed. For instance, VS is in the top 5 CCGs but they do not carry a single latest release and have placed all the old products at the bottom of the shelf where it is hard to find. You also have to pay $2 if you want to play in their crowded gaming room. Organized gaming is done by the gamers. So, if you like a game and want to make Green Dragon the spot for playing that game, you are on your own as far as getting the word out. Adrianna, one of the owners, is nice. Scott is ok. It isn't a place I like to shop in but I have no choice as far as gaming goes. [5/15/07]
