Instant Messaging server: Owner/Employee Info/Comments: For nearly 25 years, The York Emporium has been one of the best kept secrets in Central Pennsylvania. The used book and curiosity shop located in downtown York boasts 16,000 sq ft and upwards of 250,000 books (90% hardcover; 10% paperback) in addition to a large selection of records and tapes (8 tracks!), comics, military artifacts and just plain fun stuff. A free WiFi hotspot was added earlier this year. The books are well categorized into different genres. And reading spaces, with comfortable sofas, chairs and tables, are scattered throughout the shop. This is a bibliofile's delight.
