Store Review:
PLEASE NOTE: The views expressed here are not those of THE MASTER LIST, but rather, those of people who have visited the store listed above. Please take all opinions expressed here at the value of what they are: opinions.

  1. I always loved going to this store. Plenty of back issues marked down to a dollar, plus Roger and the other employees cut you a deal on top of that. I even found a few higher-priced and harder-to-find back issues in those boxes that I ended up getting for cheap. Roger is really friendly and sociable, too.

  2. The place can be hard to find. It's on 14th Street near the north-west corner of 7th Avenue. You need to ring a buzzer to be let into the building. Store is on the 2nd floor. Roger probably has the best browsable selection of Silver-Age and Golden-Age material in NYC. Roger himself tends the stores on Sundays. Other employees may be present other days, but Roger has the best knowledge of all of them. He's an honest grader and is always willing to shmooze with customers and make a deal on merchandise. WARNING: He accepts CASH ONLY!
