- Store is operated by two very nice gentleman, who also happen to be fans of what they sell, so that makes for a much more enjoyable shopping experience. Great selection of new comics and a decently-sized back issue selection. Fair prices, the ability to order whatever you'd like, and free bags for each comic bought are also good reasons to check this store out. A good stop for Magic players, too. [11/29/06]
- A very nice store with a very friendly owner. Broad selection of newly released comics and other collectable items, but the back issues and other older items were destroyed when the origional store burned down. The owner has done a nice job of bringing everything back to the way that the origional store was and there is a reasonable supply of back issues. This is a highly sugested location to pick up comics when you are in the Concord area.
- This store is an "average citizen store". If you're just getting into comic books, this is a pretty good place to go. They have stuff from the late eighties up to now at o.k. prices. I'd recommend this place for people who want one-shot books and other specialty things that you can't find at a newshop or grocery store. (Like the recent "Hulk: The End".) They put all their new issues in bags, but don't put tape to secure them. Ah well, I guess you can't have everything. There seems to be a good Magic card group in there, and (I THINK) they have a Magic card game tournament area in the back. But when I first went in, they looked at me as if to say "Who's this guy? He doesn't look like a Magic player. If he isn't here for magic, why else would he be here?" Once I saw their back issue area, I understood what they were inadvertently saying: The place is mainly a Magic hangout, and isn't really a place for comic buyers. That said though, the staff was nice to a "regular Joe" than some of the A$$h#!&$ I've met down towards Nashua. Rating: Prices:8, Employees:10, Clean Factor:9, Variety Factor:6.
