Store Review:
PLEASE NOTE: The views expressed here are not those of THE MASTER LIST, but rather, those of people who have visited the store listed above. Please take all opinions expressed here at the value of what they are: opinions.

  1. The store recently moved into a new larger location in Salem. The new facility is nicely laid out making finding things quick and easy, and there inventory and offerings have increased. The staff is extremely helpful and polite. Every time I have gone in, they have made every effort to help me find anything I am looking for, and I have found them to be very polite in not trying to hype titles or cram the latest gimmicks to you. The staff talks to you when you ask for suggestions, and offers advice on titles they recommend based on your interests (Genre/Writer/Artist/Character/Story concept etc). They have also helped me several times find various gold and silver age books I am trying to acquire for my collection in the grade and price range I am willing to pay at various Cons and shows they attend. This is definitely one of the best comic shops I have seen in New England.

  2. The prices are okay. Better than some but still a little pricey. They have many old comic books back to the sixties. Nice staff.

  3. The store has an amazing selection with books that go back to the early sixties and the prices are pretty good to (not great but could be a lot worse. Back issues are very organized and they offer a 10% discount for regulars that set up a subscription with them. For the most part the employees are very friendly but there is one that is very obnoxious and likes to complain alot especially about the store owner and what he refers to as "stupid customers" Prices-8 Selection-9 Cleanliness- 10 Employee Friendliness-5
