Employees are all friendly and helpful. Some employees are knowledgable about current comics, others are not. They have lending copies of the Preacher:Gone to Texas TPB, and one of the Sin City TPBs, possibly others. Book Review has a good selection of TPBs. They also have some Manga TPBs, mostly popular series like Oh My Goddess. There is a good selection of big two (Marvel and DC) TPB and bookshelf issues. They have been paring down some of their back issue stock with the recent addition of 25 and 50 cent bins. Prices on regular back issues are fair, and they have a consignment back issue section where prices vary wildly. Some back issues have suffered spine damage due to being in half-full longboxes. Back issues are typically not boarded but are almost all bagged. About half of the consignment issues are boarded. For new issues they will do subscriptions, and the new subscriptions are handled by their most comic-savvy staff member, so often he will make useful suggestions for new titles to regular customers. I do not use this service, so cannot comment beyond that. They carry most big two titles, plus a selection of other publishers. New issues on the racks are niether bagged nor boarded, however they have a good vertical display case so issues do not get damaged. Supplies available include the ususal long/short boxes, assorted sizes of comic bags and boards. Only a very few movies or toys. Books and comics are their primary business. Store is clean and well lit. They do not accept credit cards.
