  1. A great store!!! They have new and classic toys and action figures, classic Barbies lots of comics. They have their back issues in a very unique way. They are separated by publisher; DC, Marvel, Crossgen and Independents/Others, then alphabetized to find all of the issues with ease. I'm a huge Batman fan and they have a great selection of titles from the 50/60's to current at incredible prices! They're also Crossgen Premier Retailers so I can always get back issues of Crossgen books whenever I want. They know the industry, and their customers, better than the average comic shop owners, they can always recommend new titles by interest, artist or writer. They are also the fans' best friend! They sponsored Smallville Season 2 and Birds of Prey Premier Parties, bring in awesome creators both local and world renown, plus they do the little things like provide customers with complementary Previews and order forms and have a tremendous pre-order discount on everything in there! They folks at are friendly and courteous; it is a joy to shop there.

  2. Buy Me Toys.Com (BMT) is without a doubt one of the best stores in the Midwest. They value their customers to an almost insane degree. They are always having incredible sales and specials. If they donít have an issue on hand they will try every way possible to get it into the customerís hand. I am always greeted by a smile and a hello "my name here". There ability to not only remember all the names they do they also remember something about you and make you feel like you are hanging with a friend and not emptying your bank account on tons of great comics. I have been to stores all over the Midwest and some may have one or two aspects that make them shine but BMT is just an all around kick ass store. When I was away at school I missed BMT more than my girlfriend. They rock.

  3. BuyMeToys got me interested in comics again. The LCS I'd been frequenting for years closed, and I'd just stopped buying. I went into BMT to buy a gift, and the welcoming atmosphere and great selection got me hooked again. The discounts are generous, the owners friendly and always helpful. They've found me several out-of-print items and did it in a timely fashion. There are some good comics shops in the area, but this is the by far the best.

  4. I really like this store. I've lived in alot of different cities across the US and this is by far one of the best stores I've ever been in. The owners believe in getting the comics and items in the hand of the fans and offer great discounts (15% off the street, 25% pre-order), they have Hero Clix and Mech warrior, toys toys toys and back issues from the 60's to last week! About twice a year they have big in-store deals, like buy-one-get-one-for-a-quarter. And they bring some of the BIGGEST names in comics to little ole' South Bend for signings!

  5. Great Store. This happens to be the biggest store I have seen in this part of the country. The young Couple who owns it have always been very helpful. Really good discounts on books and statues.

  6. This is one of the worst comics shops I have ever visited. No one asked me if I wanted any help and when I asked for it I did not get much. The back issue selection is poor and disorganized. Not only that but they bring their kids into the store instead of sending them to a baby sitter. I didn't know I was going to go shopping at a daycare center. At one of their Wizkids events I was asked by a judge to turn down my first place prize because I already had it. I would have done this had I not just spent $25 to be in the event. This place is my last choice for comics and collectables in the area.
