Store Review:
PLEASE NOTE: The views expressed here are not those of THE MASTER LIST, but rather, those of people who have visited the store listed above. Please take all opinions expressed here at the value of what they are: opinions.

  1. Basic store. Carries most new comics. A bit dirty. They do have a TV of cult movies playing though. A couple of CGC issues. [7/05/07]

  2. Highlander is the antithesis of other comic shops - it's friendly, it's affordable, it's a business that has a face and a personality. It's part of the experience of collecting comics that I missed for so long before I found Highlander. It's a place to go and share your passion for comic books with others instead of simply paying your hard earned money into the faceless, corporate machine. I highly recommend you pay a visit to John (the owner) at Highlander. you won't be dissapointed.

  3. They accept e-mailed PayPal orders. New store location is small, and cramped, but you can find lots of gems. What the store lacks in intuitive organization it makes up for in selection. You may wish to call or e-mail the store before heading down to see if that rare issue may be sitting on their shelves. Store is very indy-friendly. Lots of pop-culture and comic-related cool toys and novelties.

  4. This store has everything!! If they don't have it, they'll find it for you. New books, old books, they will even buy your books if they can be resold. I HIGHLY recommend this store. They also sponser the Denver Comics and Art Festival (or DCAF) an exibition for ametuer and professional artists to showcase their work in numerous age and skill catergories.

  5. This may just be your typical comic store but, what makes this store great is the atmosphere. The employees are great. It's friendly. And I personally, wouldn't want to shop anywhere else.
