We have a lounge where you can sit and read some of the books we carry and maybe sample some of our sodas. YOUR comic shop should be somewhere you can enjoy, relax in and talk comic with people who know comics! I happened to be in the South Bay last weekend and stopped by a store I used to frequent many years ago called The Comic Bug in Manhattan Beach. The owner explained to me that the store burned down a few years ago and had since moved to a new location around the corner from their old one. This store is much bigger (and way better) than their old one. Their staff if very friendly, helpful, and quite knowledgeable. They greeted me professionally as I entered their store and they have an awesome selection of comic books, action figures, etc. Highly recommended! [3/02/09] |
