Additional Store Info & Customer Reviews JC's Guns and Tackle Product Lines Stocked: Online Order Capabilities: Credit Cards Accepted: Hours of Operation:
Instant Messaging server: Owner/Employee Info/Comments: Store Review: PLEASE NOTE: The views expressed here are not those of THE MASTER LIST, but rather, those of people who have visited the store listed above. Please take all opinions expressed here at the value of what they are: opinions. This store basically seems like a pawn shop and not in a very good area of town. They have sports cards, but they seem to have thrown those in as an afterthought. Most of their cards are just thrown together and around in a back corner of the store. The thing that did interest me the most was a display of their valuable cards. They even had a couple of Mickey Mantles. However, also in looking at these cards, I could tell that the shop didn't know much about sports cards. They had a Jerry Rice rookie for $10 over book, and, for the most part, the others seemed somewhat overpriced as well. There were (as always with people who don't actually collect or know the hobby) a few cards that were underpriced as well (not extremely, just as much as another card shop almost always discounts their cards in town), such as Donruss Ken Griffey Rookie for $5 under its value. (I didn't not see any of the cards up close, because the worker didn't offer to help until I was leaving, so I do not know their condition.) Overall, based on this stores service and sports card selection, I'd have to give this shop a 4 on a scale of 1-10 (they only got that high because of the Mantles!) |
