Instant Messaging server: Owner/Employee Info/Comments: We are soon to have a name change. No huge leap, we are changing to Patriot Games in order to reflect our concentration on the games side of things. We are holding regular sanctioned tournaments for many different ccgs including Yu-Gi-Oh and LOTR,LO5R and Magic. our wargames night is still wednesdays, ccg night is tuesdays with role-play on mondays and thursdays. All are welcome (well nearly all, its not big enough to actually hold ALL but you get my drift). Store Review: PLEASE NOTE: The views expressed here are not those of THE MASTER LIST, but rather, those of people who have visited the store listed above. Please take all opinions expressed here at the value of what they are: opinions. This is a great place to go for gamers, it has a nice club like atmosphere. They actualy stay open until about 11pm Mon to Wed for club nights. Staff are friendly and as helpful as they can be. The manager is prety knowledgeable. His help are less so, but do try hard. Range is good for ccg and rpg & getting better for boardgames also. Miniatures seem to be getting quite alot of attention too. Downstairs is a gaming area which can be used free of charge, customers only though. Overall probably the best shop in town at what it does. [8/11/05] |
