Instant Messaging server: Owner/Employee Info/Comments: Store Review: PLEASE NOTE: The views expressed here are not those of THE MASTER LIST, but rather, those of people who have visited the store listed above. Please take all opinions expressed here at the value of what they are: opinions. Shop is split into roughly into thirds space-wise, with Role Playing paraphenalia and Fantasy novels vying for space. The shop's down a side street moreorless by itself, and the comics are downstairs in the basement, so it's not exactly the most welcoming place for new readers. But having said that, the staff are reasonably friendly and usually helpful. There's a big display of current and recent single issues, and a large amount of vaguely organised longboxes full of back issues. There're a few graphic novels, but mostly the very obvious Superman / Batman / Spawn / Sandman. No AiT/PlanetLar books, no "Safe Area Goradze", no "Hellboy" nor even any trades for the Authority / Stormwatch / Planetary axis. They will however order anything if requested, and there is a well stocked manga section which usually has - for instance - all the "Eagle" and "Lone Wolf and Cub" books in it. No "Clockwork Angels" or "Cathedral Child" though, despite my ordering both and raving about them at the slightest provocation! |
