Comics Etc. is one of Brisbane's largest comic stores, and maintains a huge back issue collection that spans silver and modern age comics. They also have the largest trade paperback collection in Brisbane, stocking titles from manga to small press, and the major publishers. Frequently shows collections of books as well, such as those by popular writers like Warren Ellis, Mark Millar, etc. Comics Etc. also stocks a modest collection of comic-related toys, and new action figures like Muppets, DC and Marvel. Prices are extremely fair, and short packed figures generally aren't marked up. Their new comics selection is one of the widest I've seen, stocking many small press titles, and always plenty of copies of the larger press titles. It's very rare to go in and find a title to sell out in the first week (generally "sold out" titles can still be found a fortnight later there). Offers subscription service for comics, ordered from previews. There's also a small amount of anime DVD's available, though not as extensive as a local JB Hi-Fi store, or other DVD specialist. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, particulaly when trying to track down a particular trade paperback when you don't remember all the details :) The only problem I've ever had was when volume limits are placed on a certain title, making it impossible to collect all covers.
