- Hero's has been London's best comic shop since Brahm Wiseman took over from 'The Brothers'. Excellent membership discounts and flexible pull lists make Hero's a must for any collector who doesn't have the time to make the Wednesday stop. As far as cluttered goes, it's a full store, catering successfully to card, comic and toy collectors. The best access in a more desireable area of London's downtown. Keep up the good work Brahm! - Cluttered isn't a messy enough word to describe this store. You can stumble across things here that have been there for 6 months, that you haven't seen before. Most employees are friendly. Heroes is decent enough for new comics, but not for silver age or older issues. They seem to specialize mostly in toys, and can be a good location for sports cards as well. [9/3/05]
- Without a doubt the number one comic shop in London. Great hours, flexible pre-ordering and the best member discounts in the city. Recent back issue wall allows customers to browse without digging through the "bins".A bright store, well laid out with a helpful staff in a solid location.
- This is the friendliest store in town. Staff here talk to customers and are interested in our needs. Might be a little smaller and dimmer than some stores, but still seems friendlier (to me at least). They recently changed locations and owners, and seem to be shifting to more of a strictly-comics attitude, but that might just be my impression. At any rate they have a good selection of comics, and what you don't find they'll gladly order.
- I just read the comments above regarding Heroes. Very very accurate. Nice store run by very nice people. I've been shopping there regularly for the better part of a year. I've never been treated so well. :)
